Speaking of her recent endeavour, Lisa says: “We made a great team and quickly built a good rapport allowing us to create a truly fantastic collection”.

The collection has to remain top secret but Lisa did manage to take a snap of the talented team in action! After a hectic four days of shooting, Lisa found some spare time to hit the shops of Hamburg to see what the city had to offer – a girl after our own hearts! We can’t wait to unveil the collection shots so keep your eyes peeled…

The new role will see Lisa mentoring three Color Zoom winners alongside other members of the Master Team. What’s more, she will also be responsible for helping to create the 2014 Color Zoom trend, along with its accompanying collection images, seeing her jet off to Germany – it’s going to be an exciting year!

Lisa is thrilled saying: “I am honoured to be chosen for Goldwell’s 2014 Global Master Team, I had an amazing time with the group last year and I am very proud of the 2013 collection we created, Beautify. It is inspirational for my salon team as it shows them that hard work and passion pays off.”

Chips are a big no and with busy schedules an enduring colour is priority, so Jessica’s GELeration was the only way to go. While Zoe had Confident Coral, Louise and Lydia chose dusky pink Guilt Pleasures leaving them with chip-free tips for up to three weeks! Emma opted for a Merlot manicure. After their nails were buffed, shaped and polished to perfection by Nail Technician Katrina, the ladies departed (past Mr Paparazzi) sporting talons to cause envy!

Back in October, Lisa jetted off to Miami to compete against the crème de la crème of worldwide hairdressing talent at the Global finals of hair brand Goldwell’s Color Zoom 2011 Challenge and we were over the moon when she came back clutching the Global Partner Colorist award! As part of her prize she became a member of the renowned International Color Zoom Creative Team and recently Lisa swapped London for Germany on a top secret mission to create the exclusive 2013 collection for Goldwell, which will become the campaign that’s used worldwide next year.

After jet-setting to Germany, Lisa joined forces with the other members of the Creative Team and for the next four days her feet didn’t touch the ground! Her first day was packed with planning a mood board of the hottest cuts and colours we’ll all want gracing our heads next year, creating a glossy look book of her style predictions. Then for the next two days it was down to action! Presented with a box of mannequin heads Lisa made her ideas come to life, styling multiple looks and presenting them to the rest of the team. Finally it was decision time, cutting the masses of trends they created down to just eight finished styles that will become Goldwell’s Global 2013 collection!

To complete the trip, Lisa presented the finished styles to the Goldwell Education team, passing on her trade cut and colouring secrets of how each of the looks were achieved, so that hairdressers worldwide can recreate the leading trends for their clients themselves.

Lisa’s time jetting away to countries outside of the UK doesn’t just end there, as she’ll also be paying another visit to Germany in March. After landing the second time round, the Creative Team will head straight to a huge shoot and will be creating the final looks on real models. So, when the Goldwell 2013 collection looks are released next year, we’ll make sure that you’re among the first to see Lisa’s creations for yourselves!

After winning the UK Partner Color category in Goldwell’s Color Zoom 2011 Challenge back in July, (if you didn’t see the news click here) the other week saw Lisa head off to Miami to compete against the cream of the crop from countries worldwide at the Global finals. And guess what, she’s only gone and won!

Lisa’s prize for sailing through to the finals of the Partner Color category included flights for two to Miami, four nights accommodation and two tickets to the finals, so she hopped onto a plane with Darren and jetted off to the States. Once they’d touched down on American turf, the pair went to the Global finals where Lisa had to style and colour a live model and, if that wasn’t enough, also recreate her award-winning look in front of a panel of judges.

And after beating off stiff competition from colourists around the world, Lisa was over the moon to be crowned Global Partner Colorist. This means that not only has she won herself a place on the International Color Zoom Creative team, but she’ll also get the chance to create the 2013 collection for Goldwell.

We’ve no doubt that Lisa celebrated in style in the States, but we couldn’t just leave it there, so we’ll be rolling out the red-carpet at the salon for the global star’s return!

Taking time out from the second series of the popular reality TV programme, which follows around a group of Essex born and breed ladies and gents in their everyday lives, Lydia enjoyed a full Jessica GELeration Three Week Manicure from Katrina. Our resident nail technician treated the A-lister’s nails to a soak, file, cuticle care and the nail colour, Lydia opted for ‘Venus Was Her Name’ – one of our favourite shades too!

After an hour, Lydia walked out of the salon with glossy, non-chip nails that will last for up to three weeks. We’re sure all her fellow case members will think they’re well reem!

The champagne corks were popping last night at haircare brand Goldwell’s Summer Party when news broke that Lisa had beaten off stiff competition to scoop the Partner Colorist title at their Color Zoom 2011 Challenge.

The competition, which aims to find the most creative colourists and trend specialists worldwide, saw Lisa sail through to the finals last month, alongside Becky who was nominated for New Talent Colorist with her first entry! Having won the prestigious Partner Colorist award Lisa has been chosen to represent the UK at the Global finals in Miami with a prize that includes flights for two, four nights accommodation and two tickets to the event.

When news broke of her win, Lisa was overjoyed saying: ‘It’s absolutely brilliant. I can’t believe that I’ve won and I couldn’t be happier’.

For the chance to win the title of Global Partner Colorist and become a member of the International Color Zoom Creative team who will create the 2013 collection for Goldwell, Lisa will now go up against finalists from around the world, by styling and colouring a live model, as well as recreating the look from her winning entry.

So, all we can do now is wait until October when Lisa will head off to the States and hope that she comes back clutching another award!
